Thompson exploded on to my radar this weekend. This fiery lefty lit up the courts with her hard swings cross court and down the line. Thompson was fearless and does not back down from any ball and opponent, making her highly effective on offense and fun to watch. Her success over so many matches stems from the fact that she is super quick and also super smart. She transitions quickly and makes smart shots, reading the court well. Thompson is one that I am definitely going to have to check on again in the near future.
