About Riley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I believe I have a strong serve receive, and I am able to read the ball well on defense. My confidence allows me to take over the court and take up space on service receive.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe I’m a very positive player who loves the game of volleyball. I have a lot of confidence on the court, and I believe in myself along with my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved in Morgan's Message, National Honor Society, Key club, and I'm am on the leadership team for my high school volleyball team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

During my volleyball experience, I have learned leadership and teamwork are the most valuable components of the game of volleyball. I express these qualities through leading by example and working hard every point ever and every play. My teamwork is shown by doing my job and setting up others for success.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Throughout my volleyball career there have been coached by coaches who haven’t believed in me and placed me in spots where I couldn’t express my full ability. Now I have overcome the thought of others and played with my confidence. This has allowed me to become a better player overall, and I strive to be better every single day.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college near home with a good volleyball program and a positive team.
