Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would consider myself very athletic and fast. I cover the court well, have a strong vertical and hit, and can adapt to different positions. Defense is one of my favorite things about volleyball because without it, it’s hard to win. I love learning new skills that will take my game to the next level because I really love the game of volleyball!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would consider myself to be an extremely positive person and dependable teammate! I like to cheer on my teammates and make it a point to not get down on myself or others. I keep my head held high and always look for ways to improve. I listen to my coaches and always focus on implementing their feedback immediately.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer in my community and was nominated for leadership awards at school. I also play the violin in orchestra and take Spanish classes outside of school. I’ve also won several academic awards as well for maintaining a 4.0 throughout middle school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Since last year I have began working with my dad at his business. He owns a cleaning and janitorial service which I help him with on the weekends, and during the summer. This has helped me understand responsibility and working with him to accomplish a goal. Additionally, I was 1 of 50 students in the city accepted into the Early College Academy at my high school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I feel like the toughest challenge I currently face is being an undersized hitter. With this being my second year playing, I have learned so much about the sport and I am proud of how far I’ve come. I try my best to put in work off and on the court to improve my skills.
