About Rylee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay is very competitive, fast pace, and focused. I would say in gameplay, I have a more ambitious and serious approach, especially in high intense moments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is my weakness, especially when I am not performing at my highest level. I would say, I am a very kind, caring, and positive person. I try to keep my mentality positive, always thinking about the next play and not about the last.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in a club, Support for Student Athletes, at Damascus high school. I have received several honor role achievements for academics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership and teamwork when it comes to group/team activities. I tend to be a leader in every opportunity I get when it comes to academics or community service.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Recently, I was put on a lower team since being on the highest team at MVSA for the past five years. I am using this to better myself mentally and physically to become the best possible volleyball player that I can and come back stronger than ever.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for an affordable, decently sized college. It doesn’t matter to me whether it’s far or close to home. I plan to major in either psychology, exercise science, or athletic training. As long as the college provides a positive influence on me as a student and player, I will enjoy it no matter what.
