About Rylie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am becoming a utility player this year. I bring energy offensively and defensively on the court. Offensively, I swing consistently, know when to tip or push the ball over tricky blockers. Defensively, I am a back-row player who reads hitters well and can make plays. My jump serve is solid and reliable under pressure, and I communicate well with my teammates to cover the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I loved playing the game of volleyball since first playing in the 5th grade. I thrive on getting challenged every practice and every single game, so I keep improving every season. I am very focused during practice and game time. I also enjoy have fun and interacting with my teammates on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Not yet

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve learned a lot about teamwork and how to help lead on and off the court. Our High School volleyball team volunteers around the community, I volunteer with them.

What type of college are you looking for?

I know I want to play after High School, I’m undecided on what time of college to play for. I am open minded to any opportunity that comes my way.
