About Sabrina

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a Outside Hitter who sees the floor well with a mix of power hitting and placement accuracy, but with the defensive agility to defend as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My volleyball mentality is all about the team first and contributing in any way needed. I am coachable and get along well with all teammates. I also take the game very serious, and I am always focused on improving my skills, my athleticism, and volleyball knowledge.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been on the Honor Roll for the year 2022-23, and 2023-24 at Farmington High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My leadership both on and off the court has continued to grow over the years of basketball & volleyball. I have recognized the importance of strong team chemistry and teamwork, especially under stressful periods of the season or games. There are many personalities on any team & I believe I do a great job of helping blend those personalities in a way that benefits the entire team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I excelled at basketball from 3rd grade to my freshman year of High School, when I decided to focus on volleyball. This was challenging completely switching from high level club basketball to club volleyball. Many coaches, friends, players, and even my own parents questioned the decision but in the end, everyone supported me & I made the right decision as I love volleyball!
