This NOVA 17 Navy team has competed well all club season, including going 3-0 on day one at Summerfest to advance to the gold bracket and play for a podium finish. Wheeler has worn the libero jersey often and has done so very well through her effort. She has found a lot of success with her ball control and defense, which has helped to ignite their offense that has some potency when they are in system and rhythm. A product of NDCL, she will enter the fall 2026 high school season for the final time after a 5.9 d/m average her junior year.

At 5’8, Wheeler has a great frame for the DS/L role that she contributes for her NOVA team. Her length lends to her ability to defend with range and cover a fair amount of the court. She has good point engagement in her vision of the play development and does her job with good composure and through an ability to anticipate enough to react quickly in her first step for controlled pursuit.
