How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style involves high energy while maintaining the necessary focus to push through high pressure situations. As a setter, my style of leadership and communication with every person on the court is a key part of the game, keeping unity and stability while playing volleyball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is energetic and “hype” while still maintaining 100% focus. I keep a strong mentality following the saying “foot on the gas” at all times, never giving up or pulling back regardless of the circumstance.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in many extracurriculars outside of volleyball including Psychology club, Science National Honors Society, and community service work once a week at a nursing home. I’ve received non sports awards multiple times for my academic success such as A honor roll for my entirety of schooling, and recognition for receiving perfect state test scores.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed many important skills and qualities while playing volleyball, but the most important one to me is resilience. Volleyball has taught me how to bounce back from challenging situations and keep pushing.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced two major challenges that have affected my ability to play volleyball. I’ve broken my ankle that required immediate surgery, and I had to overcome being out for 6 months and re gaining my strength to play. The following season, I had an abusive coach who made me lose my love for the game and caused me to switch clubs. These setbacks required me to work harder to get the results I wanted
