Reynolds and her HJV 17 Elite secured a seventh-place finish in the event with five wins and four losses. Standing at 6’2″, she stood out offensively, using her long frame and firepower to overcome opposing blockers, but also showing superior vision to find her way around them and put the ball down. Reynolds also made a difference on the defensive side of the game, using her big blocking to get in the way of opposing hitters at the pin and shut them down. The outside hitter, who first emerged as a middle, showed solid ball control, too, thriving in her first contact and keeping her team in system.

Please welcome Miss Reynolds to the State Ranking List. She is currently ranked as the 19th best overall player in the 2027 grad class. She is a 6’2″ outside hitter who plays at Cy Ranch High School and Houston Juniors volleyball club. Over the last two years, Reynolds has developed into a dominant left-side attacker who commands attention the moment she steps into her approach. At 6’2”, she brings length, but it is her electrifying approach and explosive arm that separate her from the pack. She displays total body control in every phase of the game, whether she is terminating in transition, defending cross-court swings, or handling serve receive responsibilities. Simply put, she is a true six-rotation outside hitter who checks every box you want in a “go-to” player. What makes Reynolds particularly difficult to defend is her ability to elevate without requiring a long runway. While many attackers rely heavily on building momentum through a full-speed approach, she can gather efficiently off her final two steps and still explode above the net. That quick-load explosiveness makes her unpredictable and extremely hard to time as a blocker. Her long reach allows her to contact the ball at a high point, opening sharp angles and deep seam options that stress any defensive system. When she gets rolling, she can light up both the stat sheet and the scoreboard in a hurry. Beyond the physical tools, there is a steadiness in her game that reflects maturity. She understands how to score in multiple ways with power, high hands, deep corners and she does not force swings unnecessarily. That balance between aggression and control is what separates elite attackers from simply athletic ones. The junior outside hitter was Cy Ranch’s most consistent scoring option in the match. Reynolds towered above Atascocita’s blockers and used her length and offensive reach very efficiently to score points, putting the ball down at a very high rate even in out-of-system plays. She also showed great resourcefulness to succeed in difficult situations, tooling the block when she couldn’t overpower it, and mixing things up intelligently with tips. Reynolds had a solid blocking presence, getting many touches at the net, and also handled well the serves that went her way.
