By running the offenses of her high school team Wakeland and her club side TAV 17 Black, Pfiffner earned recognition as the sixth-best setter and the 31st-best player in the state in her age group. Her release is extremely smooth and she gets to push the ball to her middles without getting off the floor in a way that only absolutely elite setters can do. A lefty, Pfiffner is also well above average when it comes to setter dumps as hers is actually a true swing, which in the vast majority of the time gets unresponded because of its power and explosiveness. She’s also an extremely intelligent player, who thrives with her decision-making, especially in moments of high pressure.
