While she takes every scoring opportunity, she also uses strategic plays, like hard approaches to draw blockers or serving to initiate point runs, to keep momentum on her team’s side.
In high-pressure moments, Sarina thrives. She calls close games and long rallies some of her favorite times to play, using her voice and focus to stay present and energized. This season, she’s worked on going up hard for every ball, even when unlikely to get set, using decoy movement to open scoring opportunities for her pins. She’s also been adding back row defense to her skill set so she can contribute in all rotations.
Off the court, Sarina is known for her hard work, creativity, and inclusiveness. She maintains honor roll status, participates in extracurriculars, and makes sure her teammates feel connected both in and out of the gym.
