About Scout

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my playing style in volleyball as aggressive and fearless. I love bringing a lot of energy to the court, always pushing for fast, powerful plays. I’m super competitive, constantly looking for ways to improve and challenge myself, while also motivating my teammates to give their best. I take pride in being versatile, able to step into different roles.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When I'm on the volleyball court, my personality is all about intensity and focus. I thrive in high-pressure situations and feed off the energy of the game. I’m a team player through and through, always pushing my teammates and myself to be better, but I also have a competitive edge that drives me to outwork my opponents. Mentally, I stay locked in and adaptable, reading the game and adjusting.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am in SCA, media club, recycling club, first and second honor roll and the winner of Alice J Moore Citizenship Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong communication, reliability, and support skills when it comes to teamwork, always striving to uplift my teammates and keep the group focused. I believe in putting the team’s goals first, building a positive, collaborative environment. Through my community service at the SCA, I’ve learned the importance of giving back and fostering a sense of unity both on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve faced challenges, both on and off the court. Whether it's overcoming tough losses, dealing with injuries, or finding ways to stay mentally strong during high-pressure moments, each obstacle has pushed me to grow. My parents also went through a divorce which was challenged me, they kept our family close and had my best interest as their #1.

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of college I am looking for would offer a strong sense of community, with opportunities for both personal and academic growth. I want a school that supports my athletic pursuits, possibly with a competitive volleyball program, while also valuing teamwork and leadership. A college that promotes community involvement, such as volunteer programs or service initiatives.

Scout debuts at 160 in our 2026 rankings. I have yet to see her play but she has provided video of her hitting quick tempo sets in the middle as well as left side attacks. She hits the ball with authority as well as plays a solid back row. Scout easily led her high school team in kills with an impressive .311 hitting percentage. Her 6’0″ height also contributed to her finishing second in blocks while her quickness on the court placed her second in digs. She also is one of the primary passers on the team.

Scout made second team All State in the VISAA Division II. North Cross lost to New Covenant to eliminate them from making the State playoffs. Scout finished with 20 kills in that match. If North Cross had advanced to the state playoffs she carries the skills to perhaps make the first team.
