Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
Finishing 2-1 on the morning, Mintonette m.61 stayed alive for bid contention heading to Saturday. Their ball control was challenged for stretches which led to a lot of sets creating opportunities for their outside hitters where Weisbrod did a good job of staying aggressive with her arm. She fired off a few swings that found space and the floor or that the defense couldn’t handle due to some good pace.

Sedona Weisbrod delivered a dominant offensive showing, separating herself with her explosiveness and scoring efficiency. Her approach tempo and arm speed created immediate pressure, and she consistently produced in transition and out-of-system situations. Weisbrod attacked seams with authority while also showing discipline in tooling hands and managing the block.
Her offensive rhythm carried through extended rallies, and she remained engaged defensively throughout. Sedona’s physicality, composure, and ability to take over stretches of the match underscored her standing as one of the premier outside attackers on the floor. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Weisbrod is the other half of Centerburg’s duo scoring the most points so far in 2025. A 5’10 pin hitter, she had a productive club season that has translated well to this varsity effort as she contributes 4.0 k/s for the Trojans. She can score from several location and has a dynamic quality in the air to be able to control her contact to swing through space that puts good pressure on the defense. She recently jumped ahead of her total output from 2024, including setting a new career high of 29 kills in a 3-2 loss to Fredericktown earlier this month.
