How long have you been setting, and what made you fall in love with the position?
I started setting about 5 years ago when I was 9 and just learning the game of volleyball. I’ve grown to love the position because I love making plays and opportunities for my teammates to kill the ball.

What goals do you have for yourself going into high school?
My goal as I move to high school, other than maintain good academics, is to perfect my setting accuracy, jump setting, increase my vertical, and also work on my passing and defense. Being on the shorter side I want to be a more versatile player.

Are there any setters you look up to?
The first person I knew who was a setter is my mom, and she is one of the main reasons I wanted to play volleyball and train to be a setter.

What high school will you be attending next year?
I will be attending Northwest Career & Technical Academy, but trying out at Western High School as my zoned school.
