Please officially welcome Siena to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 96th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for Village Christian High School and also the Sports Academy volleyball club program. Recently she chose to play volleyball and attend the US Naval Academy. We thank her for her service to this country and hope that she loves every minute of it. The one aspect that stands out from the moment you set eyes on her court is how fast she is laterally along the net. Although it is one of the hardest skills to master for a middle, Siena is able to change direction with super fast reflexes and cover a lot of ground with minimal steps in order to close the block. Being very explosive with both her feet and her arms, she can seal away the net in a hurry. It looks like there is a seam to the pin attacker on the opposing side, but she takes it away in a hurry with her deceptive speed. Offensively I love the way she follows the pass to where her setter is and drives her feet hard into the ground in order to be on time for the quick attack. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
