Sloane DeFreitas is a 5'5" Outside Hitter in the Class of 2032 based in Newport Beach, California. She is a six-rotation starter for the Tstreet 12-1 National team (#7 SCSN, USA bid) and also competes in beach volleyball with MBsand Volleyball Club (A-Rated). Sloane is coachable, competitive, and hardworking. She loves being challenged, embraces feedback, and brings positive energy to every gym. She takes pride in being a great teammate and leading through effort, consistency, and attitude.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Sloane is an active member of National Charity League, where she participates in community service supporting a variety of local causes. Her work includes contributing to organizations focused on children, education, and healthcare, including the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Sloane participates in National Charity League (NCL) Juniors and supports the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF). Community service has helped her develop leadership, gratitude, and a strong commitment to helping others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of Sloane's biggest challenges has been balancing high-level indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, strength training, school, and community service while continuing to improve in each area. Learning to manage her time, stay disciplined, and maintain a positive attitude has helped her grow both as an athlete and as a person.

Sloane is looking for a college that offers strong academics, a competitive volleyball program, and a positive team culture. She hopes to find an environment that will challenge her both in the classroom and on the court while helping her continue to grow as a student-athlete and person.
