About Sloane

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Smart player, vocal on the court, hard hitter but uses shots as well to score. Good ball control and solid defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have learned to not let mistakes get to me. My club coach 12s season with Peak -Lisa Polcovich toughened me up real quick. I used to get down and let mistakes effect my play but I don't have that problem anymore. My personality on the court is positive and supportive. I also am very competitive and will get excited about a good play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I hurt my back this season during school ball which caused me to miss most of my Freshman season. It was a very mentally challenging time not being able to play and help my team. It did help me realize how much I love playing volleyball though, not being able to play for 4 and a half months!

What type of college are you looking for?

Not sure on that yet, I just love the thought of getting to play somewhere in college and represent my school on the volleyball court!

If you are looking for textbook hitting technique, look no further. Sloane Rattay Sloane Rattay Sloane Rattay 6'0" | OH/DS/L Stillwater | 2028 State OK put on a clinic on Saturday at Redland Rendezvous. She swung for kills from both pins, smashing an overpass on the left and exploiting a weak left side block on the right. Her follow-through provides her power, which is not dampened by placement. As a young player, she still has a few seasons to develop her attack; that should keep every defender on their toes!
