About Sloane

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Smart player, vocal on the court, hard hitter but uses shots as well to score. Good ball control and solid defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have learned to not let mistakes get to me. My club coach 12s season with Peak -Lisa Polcovich toughened me up real quick. I used to get down and let mistakes effect my play but I don't have that problem anymore. My personality on the court is positive and supportive. I also am very competitive and will get excited about a good play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I hurt my back this season during school ball which caused me to miss most of my Freshman season. It was a very mentally challenging time not being able to play and help my team. It did help me realize how much I love playing volleyball though, not being able to play for 4 and a half months!

What type of college are you looking for?

Not sure on that yet, I just love the thought of getting to play somewhere in college and represent my school on the volleyball court!

Sloane put together a stellar week, showcasing her all-around game in both regular season action and tournament play. In two regular season matches, she recorded 37 kills and 33 digs while hitting an efficient .340 and earning a 2.05 in serve receive. She carried that momentum into the Enid Tournament, where she was named Tournament MVP after racking up 43 kills and 35 digs. Her ability to dominate at the net and stay locked in defensively made her a game-changer all week long.
