Part of the strong-armed group, she may have won a power-hitting contest. Sophia is long, agile, and quick. Patient with her swing; obviously, she is aware of any ball handler she has, so she doesn’t waste time or energy. Then she pounces and goes into an attack like no other, with a quick, hard snap that isn’t predictable, adjusting to always set and defenders. Sophia is fun to watch.  

Sophia was delivering some nice kills and hits. She can place shots and does it with accuracy. A smart player with good size and wingspan. I saw her hit on that RS spot, lefty swing, and a problem to deal with at the net. Her volleyball IQ seems to be very high, I even watched her tool the block a few times, but on purpose, impressive.

Sophia is a Lefty RS hitter who has a great swing. She was really working hard getting to her approach and then making smart decisions at the net. I saw her go right sideline and take some off to land in the middle. She definitely can get down on the ball as well. Moves like an athlete, I’m guessing, will have a great freshman year.
