Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play with intensity and focus, always looking to dominate the net. As a middle blocker, I pride myself on quick footwork, sharp timing, and making strong, aggressive moves at the net. My passion drives me to constantly improve my blocking and attacking, and I make sure I communicate effectively with my teammates, allowing success in high pressure situations.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a very positive and supportive teammate who believes in the power of uplifting those around me. I’m always focused on maintaining a strong mindset, no matter the situation, because I know that staying mentally tough can make all the difference. Success is something I deeply value, but I also believe that it’s the collective effort of the team that leads to great achievements.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have been actively involved in several organizations throughout the years. I am a member of National Charity League, where I have developed teamwork, that I am able to use on the court. I was also a dedicated member of Girl Scouts for many years, which helped me build a strong sense of community service and commitment. Additionally, I am a member of student council.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed strong leadership skills by learning to lead by example and support my teammates, especially during challenging moments. Teamwork has been key for me, as I focus on adapting and contributing to the overall success of the team. Additionally, I’ve been active in community service, mentoring younger athletes and volunteering, which has deepened my appreciation for what sports can do.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I’ve faced many challenges over the years, from moving to a new country at such a young age, and moving around different states. As well as navigating team dynamics with club teammates. But despite these obstacles, it’s all been worth it because my passion for the sport brings me pure joy.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college where I can thrive both academically and athletically, ideally in a competitive program. I value a strong, supportive team culture where the coaches and staff truly believe in their players and a family oriented environment. It’s important to me to be in a place where we all push each other to succeed, not just on the court, but in life.
