Sophia is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Georgia State Rankings but that is only because they have not been released for her state yet.  She plays volleyball for Blessed Trinity and also plays club for the M2 volleyball program.  Miss Sroka did such a great job of being a great teammate and showing her skills to everyone that tuned in.  Her court coaches and scouts we had nominated her for a variety of reasons.  One of them was her amazing attitude and communication skills.  By being a vocal leader, she helped everyone on her court over and over to stay motivated in the scrimmage portion.  When I watched her compete, she played with a great fire for both her own success and her teammates success.  This is huge in both creating and keeping momentum on her team’s side.  As a blocker on the right side, she went up against some taller and older competition, but she did such a great job with timing her press while jumping at the net.  By focusing on pressing over the net, she takes away space from the hitter and this helps to put the ball back on the opponent’s side of the court.  I love that at a young age she is focusing on solid fundamentals of the sport.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
