I’m finding it harder and harder to believe that this young lady is still available for colleges for the fall of ‘26, yet here we are. The double-double machine that is Sophie, she finished with a whopping 24 kills in only three sets in the efficient sweep of Heritage Hills on Saturday. She also added 13 digs, proving her all-around game is doing just fine, even on the brightest of stages. I guess I don’t have to remind anyone that she’s doing this while playing in 3A, after making it all the way to Worthen last fall in 2A. Next up: defending 3A champ Roncalli, where she and her fellow Braves will really be tested.
