About Stella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a setter, I like to mix up both the tempo of my sets and the locations; I don't want to become predictable or make it easy for the blockers. I understand the importance of defense and focus on maintaining my defensive position until I know the ball won't be attacked in my direction.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with the JOI (Junior Optimist International) Club at my school. We are focused on programs which benefit our school and community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my 14U season of USA Volleyball, I fractured my left foot while playing in a tournament. Throughout the healing and rehab phase I worked to keep a positive attitude even though I was missing volleyball tournaments, softball tournaments and the majority of my 8th grade track & field season.
