About Stella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a consistent, team-oriented right-side hitter who brings size, reliability, and versatility at 6’2”. I’m a strong blocker against outsides, a go-to scorer under pressure, and an aggressive attacker who mixes power with smart shots to keep defenses off balance.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a competitive, reliable, and coachable player who brings consistency on and off the court, and I pride myself on being someone teammates and coaches can count on while still having fun.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m actively involved as a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and New Life Church Youth Group. At school, I have contributed to the Yearbook staff, and I also participate in community volunteer work helping the Humane Society and the Wieting Theatre.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball and activities outside of sports have strengthened my teamwork and leadership, taught me discipline and time management, and shown me the value of responsibility, humility, and giving back.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As a freshman I broke my ankle mid-season, but I used the off-season to come back stronger—training with a personal trainer, playing beach, and helping my club team qualify for Nationals. That experience taught me resilience and how to turn setbacks into growth.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking to play for a Division 1 or Division 2 program. I am most interested in finding a college that has a good balance between sports and education where I can contribute both on the court and in the classroom.
