Sydney is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List. She plays volleyball at Kingwood High School and club for the Allegiance volleyball program. Miss Baur was one of the best liberos in the gym on Sunday during the Expo. Her court vision and quickness to the ball was very noticeable by all of our staff. Each of our scouts had mentioned her name to me as a person to watch. When I made my way over to her court, I could easily see why. She had her head on a swivel and had a laser focus on the server and thee attacker. It almost seemed as if she had an extra gear that she would turn on during intense moments. I love when defensive players have that attitude. Any coach who has her on their team will be proud and assured that their team will have a fighting chance to compete on every rally. This was not our first time seeing her at one of our events and we hope it is not our last. I love when athletes raise some eyebrows and turn heads with their performance, because it just shows you that some players really step up when the lights shine the brightest. Syd did just that on Sunday. Please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this Expo.
