She maximizes her physical tools well to get vertical with good extension and hand penetration defensively, along with her key asset that is her arm to be able to score through a variety of attack points, which can make her difficult to identify and track.

The last evaluation of Pesut at MEQ simply indicated that you cannot sleep on her effort and activity through her three rotations across the net. She commands attention as a middle, especially given the range of offense she can run around her setter. Additionally, she can terminate with good force and movement upon contact on the ball. On the defensive side, she is patient in her read to get up on time and fill space with her hand position and penetration across the net.

Pesut jumped into the rankings this cycle after watching her compete with her Maverick team this recent club season. She is an active, agile, and powerful middle as she can swing with good pace through a variety of options around her setter. She was a key part of the Walsh Jesuit effort in 2024 as a freshman as she earned 115 kills and 52 total blocks to kickstart what should be a very productive high school career going forward.

I like the work that Pesut does as a middle hitter. She tracks the ball well and is mechanically sound with her footwork to make sure her last two steps get towards her setter to develop the right spacing with balance and the ability to swing through different zones of the opponent’s court. She has good range in her offense as well to score off one or both feet and in different locations across the net.
