Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay style as focused, determined, athletic, and always ready for the unexpected you never know the caliber of play that the opposing teams are gonna bring. As a libero playing "Big" and being "Willing" are 2 things that I live by every game and also making sure my teammates know that they can count on me to do everything I can to help our team be successful.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a go getter/willingness mindset that makes it easy to take feedback and be okay with coaches guiding me, while also knowing my role in the leadership aspect for the team and just going for it. I work well in high intense situations on the court, playing back row covering lots of area, passing tough hits, moving quickly to tips, and also communicating to my teammates what I see.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in Student Council activities, volunteering in my community with local schools and non profit organizations.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
The skills I have developed as a player run hand and hand with me as a person, starting with my mental & physical toughness, leading but also wanting others to feel and know they are leaders as well and being that teammate you can look to for comfort and guidance. I strive to keep myself grounded in all aspects and be as involved as I can in my community.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I faced a significant challenge in my earlier time of starting my volleyball career I lost my coach that was my hero in this sport, I didn’t know what being on a court without him was gonna feel like. It took a lot of praying, patience and trusting the process in knowing he poured into me his knowledge and love for this game and I had to keep going pushing forward with my passion!
What type of college are you looking for?
I am open to colleges on any Division Level that fit my Major, I would love to stay in Texas but I am open to travel, and I would be excited to be apart of any campus big or small!
