About Taelor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a middle blocker, I use my timing to be aggressive at the net, consistently getting strong blocks while also being a quick reliable option on offense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m driven and competitive, but also open to learning and growing. I take feedback well and stay composed in tough moments.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m an honor roll student, inaugural member of my school’s Beta Club and recipient of the statewide greater Little Rock Jack and Jill community service youth award. I also lead service projects such as swinging into Christmas and Valentine’s cards for hospice patients.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through sports and service, I’ve developed leadership, teamwork and discipline. Playing middle blocker has taught me how to communicate and work together as a team, while my involvement in community service projects has strengthened my leadership and responsibility.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been balancing the demands of being a four-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball, track and field, and softball. Each sport requires different skills, schedules, and levels of commitment, which can be overwhelming at times. However, I’ve learned how to manage my time, start discipline and remained focused on both athletics and academics.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I want to play at a competitive program while pursing a strong education that prepares me for my further career in medicine. I value a supportive team culture and coaches who push me to grow.
