Physicality isn’t the only thing working in Evans’ favor, though, as the Prince of Peace Catholic sophomore also wields quick footwork and refined blocking technique at the net. Most of all, Evans was a lethal slide hitter when she worked through early positional drills in Des Moines. That translated to a dominant individual performance in team scrimmages as Evans prepares for the upcoming club season with Iowa Select.
