About Taylor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a left handed hitter so naturally play on the right hand side. I have a powerful swing, but have even a bigger vertical to help with my blocks.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I can perfectionist at times and am very intelligent on and off the court. I have a quiet personality, but play big.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in national honor society, student government, and is in Talented and Gifted at school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer at church with children, even was a student leader at camp for a few summers. I am in student government and silver cord hours, which is a volunteering group at school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I played as a freshman on my varsity squad last year and realized the huge jump I had to make quickly. I also have a special needs brother that I learn how to live everyday... don't sweat the small stuff.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to into the medical field, so somewhere I can go pre-med.

I have watched Schneider play a few times this year and she always gets it done. A “go to” attacker for her team, Schneider is a versatile terminating machine that reads the block in front of her well. She also has a great vertical that propels her up and over the block, time and time again. Her cross court shot is lethal, but her shot down the line tends to be really hard for teams to handle.
