Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
The Discoverers are still finding big wins toward the end of the regular season. Columbus High School is 20-8 this year and sits among Class A’s many mega-dynasties in the wildcard standings. Miller has been a key contributor to this triumph and has enjoyed the best single-season output of her career. She puts down two kills per set from the middle and leads the Discoverers in blocks. The Nebraska ONE star uses her imposing length to match up with any of Nebraska’s top terminators. It’s the perfect formula for a breakout tournament appearance.

Miller brings a little of everything to the court: length, power, and a lot of positive energy. We saw all these things materialize when she was a showcase participant, and it’s paying even bigger dividends with Nebraska ONE 17 Black. The Columbus native contributed to a bid-earning triumph at the Windy City Qualifier–a tough qualifier in any division. Miller’s hard-hitting style at the middle blocker spot will be a big hit at GJNC.

Nebraska ONE stays in the spotlight with another team that brought its best at WCQ. 17 Black earned a USA bid in Chicago while Miller gave the team a huge lift in the front row. The Columbus High School star has diversified her routes this year with an impressive slide attack in two-hitter rotations. We already knew about Miller’s exceptional length and power, but her quickness along the net has set her apart in 2024.

Miller’s rise in the 2025 rankings was coming. The Columbus athlete has made the most of her appearances on the Prep Dig Circuit, and her work on the prep side has garnered attention, too. The Discoverers found every way possible to get Miller involved, whether its was on the quick, behind the setter, or on the pin. She puts some undiggable heat behind the ball and can work indefensible areas of the court. Nebraska ONE 17 Black is the next stop for Miller on the club trail.

Miller is the kind of middle blocker who can lock down the net in a variety of ways. She is strong in front of the setter and can use her length to hit over opposing blockers with slower tempos. Columbus High School would even use Miller in sideout situations on the left pin. When she represents Nebraska ONE in the 2024 club season, Miller will also remind us of her ability to shut down hitters with her physicality. This is a perfect do-everything athlete for the middle blocker spot.

Columbus High School is going to have some serious firepower in the middle. Miller has already burst onto the small-town scene with some floor-denting kills for her up-and-coming prep team. We’ve now seen those same attributes flourish in a showcase environment, where Miller made an impact regardless of who was on her side of the net. Look out for Miller and the Discoverers.
