How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a genuine love for volleyball. I bring energy and positivity on the court, but more importantly to my teammates and coaches. I am a supportive, vocal player, and love competitive environments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Mentality - When I make a mistake I shake it off. I have been taught to have short term memory, while maintaining a positive mindset. It is about the next play and how I can better the next ball. I am not afraid to make aggressive mistakes. Personality - I am very outgoing, I love to encourage others, and I am very coachable and willing to accept constructive criticism.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Clubs - I love playing tennis and am a member of the River Cities Tennis. I also play travel/school basketball . Organizations - I was a student council member. I also received the 2024 USTA Missouri Valley Sportsmanship Award. A quote from Head Tennis Coach, Cindy Rasche, "Tenley is the kindest and most polite person you will ever be beaten by."

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I continue to grow and develop as a player and person. As a leader, I want to encourage my teammates and demonstrate leadership qualities during game points or after losing a close match. It is my responsibility to stay hyped and encourage others to be resilient for the next set. I love to volunteer and work with students during Special Olympic activities at our middle school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At this point in my life, I have been very blessed, and have not faced any significant challenges. I have two parents and two sisters that I have a great relationship with. I recently placed my trust in Jesus this past summer, and will continue to rely on Him as I further my education, volleyball career, and life as a teen. My favorite song is "Counting My Blessings" by Matt Maher.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a strong culture. A volleyball program that established a competitive and winning tradition. I would like a family environment with a plan of attack on game days. I am looking for a supportive atmosphere that promotes personal, team, and program growth as I look to improve every day in the gym and classroom.
