About Tesla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

During gameplay, I strive to play my hardest and not give up when our team is down. I go with the flow and play my hardest till the end.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Even when my team is down, I use positivity to bring us up. In my opinion, volleyball is a mental sport just as much as it is a physical one, and having a good mentality can change the entire game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was the Salutatorian in my 8th grade class.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

When I started out volleyball, I had no idea of the importance teamwork was. As I have developed my skill; I have equally developed my mindset towards the rest of my team. I also volunteer at my church and non profits such as horses for hero's.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I don't believe I have faced challenges more troubling then the average person would, but I have encountered some times that were hard for me to overcome. My grandpa who I was very close to passed away around a year ago and my mom and I had to work together to recover from that.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a D2 or D3 school preferably in Colorado or Utah. The location is not too big of a deal to me, but I am looking for a welcoming college that offers good programs for what I am hoping to major in—psychology.
