How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is highly observant and fast paced. I’m always the loudest person on the court and the most observant. I can see everything happening before it does, this way I can let my teammates know in advance so they’re ready for every ball that comes over. As a middle, I feel as I have a big job on the court, and having big pair of eyes for my teammates can be very beneficial!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is very "goldfish-like" make a mistake and move on. During the game, i can only think about what's coming next. After is when i have time to process what i could have done better and execute that going forward. I'd say my personality is very positive and uplifting there is nothing better than that rush of watching your teammates do good!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my volleyball journey and as a captain i've learned that one of my best traits is my leadership and motivation for my team. The best feeling is when you find a positive way to secure that next point. As an observant and outspoken player, I naturally step into this leadership role, assisting my teammates with every next play!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I have faced while playing volleyball is playing one of the tallest positions on the court. I feel as if I am often overlooked because of my height and usually being the shortest. However, being able to use this challenge as motivation to only get better and work harder than the average person has really changed my dedication for this sport for the better.
