About Victoria

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a setter and hitter in a 6-2 rotation for Skyhigh 15 Elite. I am versatile and I can get done what needs to get done. I have a high volleyball IQ and I am an athletic and aggressive player. I will sacrifice my body to make a play and help my team!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe in “feeding” my team positivity and I thrive on the energy of my teammates and their successes. I smile a lot because I simply love being in the court with my team! I truly believe I can rebound quickly when I make a mistake and I respond with even more motivation to do better!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the BETA club and Girl Up. I was awarded the high honor roll in all quarters of middle school for maintaining a 3.8 or higher average. I was awarded the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Since I played up the level in club volleyball for many years, I developed a maturity and a leadership mentality early on. I was the team captain for my club team last season. These experiences taught me to advocate for myself and my team and to lead with a positive example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had numerous injuries during my years of playing club and beach volleyball and participating in track and field. I have been very proud of my ability to persevere through pain and injury, and to return to the court as quickly as possible and come back mentally stronger and physically better!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a high academic school that will afford me the opportunity to play at the highest possible level of volleyball that I can. I am committed to excelling as a student athlete, and I am open too many options and opportunities.
