The junior from Tumwater High School displayed her strong overall game at the SLC Showcase, playing with determination and working hard during drills and six-on-six play. Her athleticism on the pin helped her score with hard swings off the block, and she has touch and accuracy with a roll shot she likes to deliver down the seam. Hugus has a strong build and good size; the 2026 prospect will be an excellent pick-up for a program that needs a skilled and hard-working six-rotation player.

Hugus has a powerful arm swing and can play outside or on the right. She stepped into more of a role as a back row player at times for Tumwater, handling herself well in serve-receive and contributing several matches with double-digit digs. Hugus was excellent for Oly Reign during club last season, which carried into her fall campaign with Tumwater.
