About Trinity

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with an aggressive style. I always want to make the most of my time on the court and make sure that the work that I put in shows.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is that I always want to be the best. I am confident in my ability, even against people that play the same position as me with more height. I know no one wants it more than me and I am willing to fight for it.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am! I am involved in Jack and Jill, National Charity League, NJROTC, and Debate. I was most recently named head prosecuting attorney and was made the Captain of the Flag Team for NJROTC.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills, like listening and being understanding. I have learned that everything is a team effort, even some of the stuff you do on your own. You always will need someone by you to help out.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being a Black woman in a majority White sport has always been a challenge for me. From the time I started playing, I always had to prove my worth, moreso than anyone else on the court. People look at how I play and my confidence and often see it as aggression.

What type of college are you looking for?

Something that has the warmth of home, with a good support system and staff that can help guide me through until i’m sure of myself.
