Trinity Strickland Trinity Strickland MH AR is the type of player who is never satisfied with standing still. The 5-foot-10 middle blocker believes her drive to improve separates her from others in the 2027 class. Whether it’s staying after practice, asking questions, or working on weaknesses, Strickland is constantly looking for ways to elevate her game. “I think what separates me is how much I care about getting better,” Strickland said. “I’m not the type of player who is ever completely satisfied with where I am.”
Her impact goes beyond skill development. Strickland prides herself on bringing energy to every practice and match while celebrating the success of those around her. “I love celebrating my teammates’ successes just as much as my own, and I think that a positive attitude helps me make an impact beyond the stats.”
As she continues through the recruiting process, Strickland is looking for a program that values both the athlete and the person. “I’m looking for a program where I feel genuinely valued as both a player and a person,” she said. “I want coaches who will challenge me and help me grow on and off the court.” Academics also play a major role in her decision. With aspirations to attend law school, she wants a college that will prepare her for success long after her playing career ends. “I’m looking for a place where I can compete at a high level and prepare myself for life after volleyball.”
What does she hope a coach sees? Strickland hopes they recognize the effort and leadership she brings every day. “I would want them to know that what they’ll get from me is someone who is skilled and competes with everything she has,” she said. “I’m not afraid of hard work, and I genuinely love being part of a team.”
She also wants to be remembered for the impact she has on the people around her. “As a teammate, I’m supportive, loud, encouraging, and willing to do whatever is needed to help us succeed. I want to be remembered as someone who made the people around her better.”
Scout’s Take: Strickland is a middle blocker with a growth mindset and a team-first approach. At 5-foot-10, she brings energy, competitiveness, and a commitment to continual improvement every time she steps on the court. Her willingness to embrace coaching, invest in teammates, and lead through encouragement makes her the type of player who can positively affect both a lineup and a program’s culture.
