About Tristen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay as being very dedicated to the play in the moment. being an outside hitter I have to be someone that my team can go to and count on to score in tight situations.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say my personality is very quiet until you get to know me. I would like to think that I bring lots of excitement to the team and leadership.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have gotten multiple all "A" and "A" "B" honor roll awards and been recognized for having great writing in English class throughout the year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

When I was younger, I used to think that certain people on teams made them very good, but I began to realize that its certain qualities of each person plus the bond of a team that when they all come together that is what makes them one and I feel like my team is a great example of that.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My mental toughness used to be a huge struggle for me, it almost was like it was controlling me because every little mistake I would make I would beat myself up for it. I just never gave myself enough credit because I thought that I wasn't good enough.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would really like to go to a d1 school preferably in the SEC, ACC, Big ten, Big 12 or PAC 12.
