Tristyn was exceptional at Nationals, where she stepped into the middle position instead of her usual outside role. If I hadn’t known her position beforehand, I would have assumed she played middle all season. She made significant contributions with big blocks and kills to her opponents left and right corners. When she rotated to the back row, she racked up on aces and excelled in serve receive and defense. She also took advantage of opportunities to hit from the back row, collecting even more kills. She is a scorer and plays hard no matter what position she is in.
