About Valerie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I bring a strong competitive spirit to the court, known for my defensive skills, relentless hustle, and determination to never let the ball hit the ground. I pride myself on being a team player, always committed to supporting my teammates and contributing to our collective success.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to help my team win and give my 100% to every play, although my personality is a shy, quiet girl; something about the game transforms me into a team player who wants to help her team win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

None yet

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a setter i had to learn a lot to be a vocal leader to my teammates, it has help me be more free and not afraid to talk to people

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge I faced was in my first club year. I hurt my wrist and rolled both ankles before a tournament, but I wanted to play so badly that I didn't complain until the tournament was over. I had to stop for two weeks before getting back on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any institution offers the potential to propel my career to previously unimagined professional heights.
