Vanessa has been a key piece of the Seckman Jaguars since joining the program last season. At 5-foot-7, she plays with maturity beyond her years and can run an offense as a traditional setter. However, with the Jaguars’ front-row personnel, Seckman’s 6-2 system gives the team its best balance.

Wason is intelligent with the ball, consistently puts her hitters in position to succeed, and plays with tremendous passion. She serves as the team’s quarterback and has all the tools to become an outstanding setter at the next level. Wason is closing in on 1,000 career assists and will also approach 500 career digs by the end of the season.
