About Victoria

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a quick and energized DS/Libero focused on getting to the ball wherever it falls and working on my consistent passing and aggressive defense. I communicate well and aim to control the ball, providing accurate first contacts to set up the offense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I can say that my personality is not "outgoing" but I love being kind and making friendships out of teammates. I try my best to bring excitement to the court and keep my teammates focused. I like to observe my surroundings. I love making time to have a quick workout or private sessions to get even the slightest bit of a difference in my skill level.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Rage Volleyball Club in Ripon, CA. I also have been involved in high school and 6-8th grade vb, track, dance, cheer, and acrobats. I deeply fell in love with volleyball after my 7th grade year finishing at a club in Ceres to move to Rage. I danced at 11 1/2 years until I decided to put my full focus into volleyball. I want to continue in track in field as an extra "workout".

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed the qualities of being a leader and understanding the purpose of having a team of 12 or more. Volleyball is not a one person sport and it shouldn't be you comparing yourself with a teammate, instead you should try working harder or show improvement for your coaches to notice and being kind and uplifting to those teammates who may be at a higher or lower level.
