About Vivienne

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as aggressive, fast-paced, and team-oriented. I’m always communicating on the court and giving my all for every point. I focus on being smart with my plays and reading the game so I can make quick decisions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m super competitive and always want to improve. I’m coachable, hardworking, and I never give up—even when we’re down. I try to bring positive energy to my team and support my teammates on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I’m part of my school’s leadership team and I help out with student council. I’ve also received awards for academic excellence.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing volleyball has helped me grow a lot in leadership and teamwork. I’ve learned how to communicate better with my teammates and stay positive no matter what the score is. I also try to lead by example by staying focused during practice and games. Outside of volleyball, I’ve helped with younger teams at my club, which has taught me patience and how to support others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I faced was moving up to a more competitive level of play. At first, I felt nervous and unsure of myself, but I worked hard in practice, asked for feedback, and stayed determined. Over time, I built confidence and earned my spot as a starter. It showed me that stepping out of your comfort zone can really help you grow.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong volleyball program where I can continue growing as an athlete and a student. I want a school with great coaching, a positive team culture, and strong academics. I’m also interested in a college that feels like a community and supports student-athletes on and off the court. I’m open to different locations, but I want to be somewhere I feel motivated and suppo
