South Central NE 16 Black gives us another one. Lewis is the kind of athlete who can pile up numbers in every column of the stat sheet. She played a setter-hitter role with 16 Black, allowing us to get a glimpse at Lewis’s ball control and physicality. No matter which role she plays with St. Paul this fall, Lewis is bound to be an on-court leader who could drop a triple-double at any time. Her positive momentum continues to escalate.

We had to get South Central NE involved on the stock riser front. Lewis has been a steady, consistent leader for 16 Black while guiding the team through several high-profile events. This maturity is evident even as Lewis shoulders dual responsibilities as a backcourt setter and a front-row opposite. South Central NE was a force at the Show Me Qualifier and racked up several highlight moments at the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament. Lewis will surely channel these experiences toward another successful high school campaign with St. Paul.

Lewis is the do-everything player in the South Central NE 16 Black lineup. We were particularly impressed with her setting prowess out of the back row, and Lewis also played stingy defense in the right-back area. However, Lewis often transitions to an attacking role in the frontcourt and showcases her impressive athleticism along the net. Versatile players like Lewis have propelled South Central NE into the Great Plains Region conversation in recent years. They’ll keep climbing, too.

Here’s one more for the South Central NE crew. Lewis plays on the outside but can also bring the ball-control skills you’d expect from a South Central pin hitter. She joins St. Paul’s 2024 roster as the Wildcats reload with a ton of up-and-coming athletes. We know what this high school program can accomplish with multi-talented athletes like Lewis leading the charge. The 2024 high school season will tell us a lot about how Lewis and her fellow South Central stars stack up in the sophomore class.
