Miss Jones came to the showcase with a lot of potential.  She showed plenty of it all event long. Her approach mechanics were technically sound and the velocity she generated at contact came from proper shoulder loading and creating momentum with great torque rather than just swinging wildly, which tells you the fundamentals have been built the right way. When the block took away her primary angle she adjusted at the point of contact rather than forcing a shot into coverage and that kind of spatial awareness in a player this young is not something you see every day. Madfrog has her developing at a high standard and it was visible in how she competed from the first rep to the last. She is a player to keep a close eye on as the 2031 class develops. Zoe Jones, a 2031 outside, taking her 6 rotation abilities to Madfrog this upcoming club season. She made her ability and all out effort known on the court at the Up Next Showcase, playing all out defense and pushing the energy on the court. Her hustle and quickness on the court set her apart early on. Her ability to cover corners and push to recover plays defensively are a sign of her commitment to the game.
