Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I started playing VB as a MH and then moved to right side. I have worked to gain more skills as a hitter, passer, blocker, and now setter. I can hit it hard-deep, line and short- but I also know when to use a roll shot to score in an open spot.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
On the court, I am focused but also encouraging to my teammates. My Coaches say that I am a leader and that is important to me. I also can be goofy and make people laugh, especially when they really get to know me. I am very passionate and can get upset with myself, but that has gotten easier with time as I have had more experience and gotten older.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
During elementary and middle school I was in Girl Scouts and received the Bronze Award. I participated in Girls on the Run with my mother as my coach for 3 years. I am in National Honor Society. In Spring of 2025, I traveled to Carndonagh, Ireland with the Sister Cities of St Charles, MO. I participate in St. Charles County Center for Advanced Professional Studies for the 2025-26 Academic Year.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
My Grandfather has been a career Basketball Coach for High School and then Lindenwood University. My father played college basketball at Emory University. They have each instilled in me the values of teamwork and dedication. I have enjoyed and seen the value of service to my community through my church and other social groups.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I had an injury in October 2024 toward the end of my High School season. It required surgery and sidelined me until February of 2025. I came back and played my High School basketball season and Club Volleyball Season. It was a lot of work physically and mentally to get back to where I was preinjury. I am ready to keep building on that momentum and play event better than I did before.
What type of college are you looking for?
A strong athletic program with good fan/ community support at a strong academic institution. My parents and I try to recognize the overall strength and opportunities at different programs when deciding the best place for me. I want to play at an institution that will continue to advance my athletic potential.
