Miss Shockley is currently an unranked prospect in the 2030 class according to our Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released her class. She will play volleyball at Clark High School and currently plays for the Alamo volleyball club. Even as an eighth grader, this young phenom shows flashes of brilliance in every facet of the game. As an offensive weapon, she has a tall and strong frame that can bring some serious heat from both pins. I especially love how she lets the ball cross over her shoulders during her right side attack in order to swing down the line with power. Her ability to battle at the net as a blocker is elite to say the least. She keeps her hands very high while at base and it helps her to be very fast and efficient when reaching up and over the net while pressing over during the block attempt. As a setter, she has super soft hands that allow the ball to float out of them so smoothly. She also uses these cloud-like hands when passing/digging and it keeps the ball in system for her team to capitalize on. We will keep watching her volleyball journey closely.
