About Zoie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love fast plays I think that they are so fun to watch or even to do and I think it is so rare to see teams have fast plays and I think it is so special to have that connection with your teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is that confidence is key and that has been in my head since day one. I think I could describe myself as uprising to others I mean there isn’t a day where I don’t want to be in the gym playing. I love playing volleyball and would do anything to play volleyball.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in 2 clubs in school called HOSA which is for healthcare and then DECA which is more of like a business club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have definitely developed more of a leadership role as I work to build people up and make others feel just as confident in themselves as I do in them. I would say that my teamwork has always been good as I love working with others in helping us succeed.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had to face the challenge that my club coach put on me of becoming an all-around player being able to play any position on the court that my team needed. I also had to overcome the challenge of adapting to a new club to best fit in with a new team by learning how all of my hitters want their sets.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will be very supportive and help me keep my confidence as I would go through my college years.
