<p>While most people think about Omaha and Lincoln when it comes to club volleyball, perhaps the best-kept secret is well away from the two largest cities in the state.</p>
<p>South Central Nebraska Volleyball Club – based in Aurora – has a long-standing tradition of putting out quality teams filled with small-school standouts from the central part of the state. This season looks to be no exception.</p>
<p>At the 15s level, South Central has two teams with some of the top small-school talent in the state. We start by taking a look at the South Central 15 Black squad.</p>
<p>Coached by Blue Hill’s Kristi Allen, the South Central 15 Black team consists of <strong>Caitlyn Scott</strong> of Adams Central, <strong>Cassidy Knust</strong> of Aurora, <strong>Kassidy Hudson</strong> of Aurora, <strong>Brooklyn Kohmetscher</strong> of Blue Hill, <strong>Majesta Valasek</strong> of Broken Bow, <strong>Ashlyn Lukasiewicz</strong> of St. Paul, <strong>Katharine Hamburger</strong> of Hastings St. Cecilia, <strong>Noel Roan</strong> of St. Paul and <strong>Camryn Morgan</strong> of St. Paul.</p>
<p>The 15 Red team, coached by Kortney Allen, consists of <strong>Raina Cattau</strong> of Aurora, <strong>Emily Erickson</strong> of Aurora, <strong>Kylie Larson</strong> of Aurora, <strong>Kiley Rathjen</strong> of Centennial, <strong>Ashlyn Penner</strong> of Central Valley, <strong>Cortlyn Schaefer</strong> of Cross County, <strong>Gabrielle Siebert</strong> of Heartland, <strong>Abby Elstermeier</strong> of St. Paul and <strong>Erin Case</strong> of York.</p>
