Minnesota Match-up: Week 2 METRO

<p>School has started for all players around the state, and these student athletes are focused on success. There will be several great matches played in the metro area tonight.</p>
<p><strong>Mahtomedi Zephyrs vs North St. Paul Polars:</strong> Mahtomedi enter Thursday's match with hopes of gaining their first win of the season. Senior <strong>Kyndra Hansen</strong> leads the Mahtomedi squad. This 6'1'' outside hitter battled hard in the close match Tuesday against Moundsview but <strong>Reagan Denny</strong> finshed the match with 21 kills and the Zephyrs weren't able to gain the lead despite efforts from Hansen and seniors. Tonight <strong>Yaiza Franco</strong> will be the one they need to stop. She's a 6'1'' junior who plays very aggressively in the middle. Franco lives for overpasses and makes setters play defense by sending most of her hits to the back right corner of the court. Look for her to run a variety of hits to keep the defense on their toes. This will be an intense match as the Polars try to stay unbeaten and the Zephyrs fight for their first "W." </p>
